Ron Santo died this morning. I’m sad he was never voted into the Hall of Fame while he was still alive. It’s hard to imagine Cubs baseball without him, but I guess we fans survived without Harry Carey and we’ll do the same now. Folks in New York are snowed in and expecting more snow. [...]

NOT! See that brown path? It goes from the door of the hen house to the barn. They do NOT stray off the dirt path, they do NOT walk on snow. It’s very strange not having all the chickens underneath the birdfeeders pecking at the spillage.
