My Beloved
Retired from the United States Navy, now employed as a Safety Training Supervisor. The extrovert for my introvertness. Lover of all things Illinois: Bears, Cubs, Bulls.
Still a lover of all things Illinois, even when those sports teams don’t always finish on top. Now the supervisor of the safety training department and still traveling the United States. I’d be jealous, but he tends to be in the frigid north during the winter and the deep south during the summer.
Rooster
My first and only son, age sixteen. Loves soccer, skateboarding, and cooking. Hates anything that resembles school. Type 1 Diabetic dx 2/07.
Wow. First born is now 18 and getting ready to graduate from high school. Not much else has changed.
Princess
My first daughter, age fourteen. Evidence that pink-hating mothers are destined to have pink-loving daughters. Loves reading good books and writing (journals and stories). Type A personality dx 1994.
My sweet daughter is now 16 and waiting impatiently for her driver’s license. She still loves all things pink, but reads less now that basketball takes up most of her time.
Flower Child
My baby girl, age ten. Loves soccer and ballet. Loves being barefoot and outside, without a coat. Regardless of the weather. Soft heart for all of God’s creatures. CONCRETE Random Learner. Put on this earth to show me how little I know.
My baby is about to turn 13. The last to become a teenager. While ballet is history, much is still the same with her. She has a passion for art, especially pastels, and a loathing for all things involving numbers (unless she is counting her art supplies.)
