After much deliberation, I went with the Sonlight Ultra Microscope. It has all the features I want, plus the price was the best after my club discount.
This is the best picture I could find.

Time to muddle through my aspirations and goals for 2008.
Time to pull out the Sonlight Core 3 Instructor’s Guide and last year’s lesson book to figure out where Flower Child left off and to plan her future schedule. She has one book left in Beautiful Feet’s History of the Horse.
Time to write out the January [...]

I’ve been given a wonderful gift this week: The chance to watch my two beautiful daughters dance together. No, not just rockin’ around the house, but real, live ballet. They are dancing together as flowers in the Nutcracker. Of the five girls, there is another sister pair and then one of Princess’s best friends.
My heart [...]

When you think your children are oblivious to your feelings, think again.
I said Merry Christmas to our car-hop at Sonic tonight. Very thoughtfully, Princess turned to me and said, “I can’t believe how often you say ‘Merry Christmas’. Last year you were so anti-Christmas.”
Dh and I truthfully believed that we were doing a good job [...]

Ugh. A couple of folks have asked for details on the soup recipe. Ugh. Details? I don’t need no stinkin’ details!
Uh… that’s probably why I never make the same dish twice.
Okay, anything that comes in a can will be the can that is the same size as the gazillion cans of Campbell’s soup [...]
